Wonderfully Woven is a Doula service offering not only Birth and Postpartum Care, but support from conception, throughout pregnancy, and beyond the postpartum period.

Conception

When you’re wanting to conceive, you deserve to feel seen, heard and supported, not rushed or alone.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a season of preparation. My hope is that you feel informed, confident and empowered as you prepare to welcome your baby.

How I can support you

Warm, practical support throughout your pregnancy
Clear, plain-language information to help you make informed and consensual decisions
Questions you can ask your care provider, so you feel confident in appointments
Support for your partner and family as you prepare together
Antenatal appointments covering birth preferences, labour and birth education, comfort measures and preparing for the early postpartum period
24/7 on-call support from 38 weeks gestation until the birth of your baby
Ongoing phone and email support, with regular communication available Monday to Friday

Birth

I step into each birth with empathy, gentleness, and deep respect, championing your choices, advocating for your comfort, and encouraging you every step of the way.

How I can support you

Continuous emotional and physical comfort support
Championing your choices and advocating for your comfort
Holding space with compassion, steadiness, and prayerful support
Supporting your partner so they can support you
Continuous labour and birth support: positioning, movement, comfort measures and encouragement
Up to two hours of immediate postnatal support, protecting space for your golden hour, bonding and skin-to-skin

Postpartum care

The early postpartum days are a tender, significant transition. You deserve to feel safe, supported and cared for as you settle in with your baby.

How I can support you

Practical care and encouragement in the early weeks
A calm space to talk through your birth experience
Support for you and your family as you adjust
Postpartum visits in your home (up to 4 hours each), shaped around what you and your family need
Infant feeding support within doula scope, with referrals to specialist lactation support when appropriate
Nourishing meals, light household help, and newborn and sibling care so you can rest
For families who welcome it, gentle Christian pastoral support, encouragement and prayer
